A Privately owned airline base in Qatar is looking for a Flight Security Officer (Temporary). Job holder will be responsible to prevent unlawful interference of company aircraft both at their home base and at any other location world-wide. Ensure the safety and expeditious loading of VIP baggage and cargo, in accordance with the approved aircraft loading system.

• Ensures the safe handling and passage of any firearm and ammunition carried by, or accompanying passengers, with particular regard to the requirements of foreign authorities.

• Supervise the handling, Security checking and loading of baggage and freight in accordance with approved Weight and Balance procedures, and the approved aircraft loading system.

• Liaison/ monitor other departments on security matters.

• Under supervision assist in the auditing of Airports and Maintenance checks with regards to security.

• Monitor all Security concerning third party contractual services and recommend security improvements where necessary."

1 year temporary contract

The candidate should have an Army or Police Academic Qualification with general knowledge in aviation. Training certification in Dangerous Goods, Weight and Balance will be a great advantage.
