The company will focus on reliable systems and innovative IoT applications to meet the challenges facing the airports of the future. With Baggage 360, customers can enjoy seamless baggage handling on many levels, including real-time baggage-flow forecasts that are unique to the market. The application also provides interactive maps that show movements on the apron and a tool for planning and simulating fixed, mobile, and personnel resources. Using a digital twin, airports can display their processes virtually and optimize and control them through remote access. Baggage 360 ensures efficient operation – even with short transfer times or particularly high utilisation.
Another highlight of the show is the new VarioBelt TilterPlus belt conveyor. With just one device, baggage items can be conveyed in three directions: straight ahead, to the left, and to the right. VarioBelt TilterPlus allows airport operators to expand their system on a modular basis with significantly fewer machines and a smaller footprint.
