Running from 1 to 2 February 2011 at Dubai’s Airport Expo, MRO Middle East will bring together top industry professionals from across the globe for a conference to discuss new technologies, new processes and asset management strategies.

The accompanying exhibition will see the return of 200 established companies such as Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies (ADAT), Boeing, Lufthansa Technik, Goodrich, Pratt & Whitney and Rockwell Collins.

Keynote speakers include Adel Ali, CEO of Air Arabia, Ken Gile, COO of flydubai, Iain Lachlan, Divisional SVP Engineering of Emirate Airline, and Abdulla Shadid, Senior Business Development Manager Aerospace of Mubadala.

Most of the airlines across the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region will be represented by key executives who hold decision-making responsibility for procurement and purchasing of maintenance, overhaul or engineering equipment and services.

Through the Hosted Buyers programme, several of the key executives will be accommodated at five-star hotels and attend pre-scheduled meetings with exhibitors throughout the two days of the show, in addition to show networking events in the evenings.

MRO Middle East is produced by F&E Aerospace and Aviation Week. Gold sponsors are Chromalloy and HEICO. Silver sponsors include Airbus, Goodrich, Lufthansa Technik, and Pratt & Whitney. Titanium sponsors are Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies and SR Technics. The event is supported by the Association of European Airlines, the Air Transport Association, the International Air Transport Association, and the Middle East Aerospace Consortium, and with media support from Arabian Aerospace, Asian Aviation, Aviation Week & Space Technology, and Overhaul & Maintenance.

Michele Van Akelijen, Event Director at F&E Aerospace, said: “MRO Middle East, in its third running, is now firmly established on the region’s calendar of aerospace events.

“The Hosted Buyers programme has had proven success at our other events, giving exhibitors direct access to representatives of their target market. We look forward to providing a similarly worthwhile experience to our exhibitors at MRO Middle East.”

Lydia Janow, Director of Events and Tradeshows at Aviation Week, said: “To succeed, you need to amass knowledge to improve your strategy and connections to improve your business growth—MRO Middle East allows for both, and our attendees appreciate that, which is why they come back, year after year.

“We are pleased to provide this VIP access to qualified senior executives through our new Hosted Buyers programme. These are the people who are supporting growth, developing tomorrow’s innovations, and propelling the industry forward. We expect this new programme to add value to an already valuable event.”
