Dates set for Saudi aviation and logistics summit in Jeddah

Kingdom Airports Aviation & Logistics Summit 2012 is developed to provide the airports, aviation, business aviation, transport, logistics, materials handling and warehousing sectors in Saudi Arabia, with an exhibition and conference they can participate in and network at.
Event organiser, Arabian Reach, said opportunities exist for companies to showcase products and services at the exhibition and present their expertise through conference presentation.
The exhibition is supported by Jeddah Chamber of Commerce, the King Abdulaziz international airport and other governmental bodies.
The event is getting backing from the key bodies. "The General Civil Aviation Authority
sees this conference as an excellent sourcing ground and networking platform to expand its suppliers' network and to share its project plans and requirements with those who are ready to go the extra mile in our quest for excellence," said Mohamed Abed, director general of King Abdulaziz International Airport.
The organisers say the timing is right for the event, with the Kingdom budgeting $100 billion of investment in airport, port, rail, road and logistics centre projects over the next decade, with a strategy to make the Kingdom one of the world's leading transport and logistics hubs by 2020. Saudi offers large-scale venture opportunities through projects including airport renovations, ports up gradation and a number of large rail developments.60% of the total aviation and business
The event will showcase the latest technologies, innovations, products and competitive services and the event is providing an excellent opportunity to the global community to explore and benefit from the existing Saudi Arabia's business friendly environment
