Conference with surveillance and security focus set for Abu Dhabi

The Middle East Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance conference – MEISR 2010 organised by The Institute for Near East and Gulf Military Analysis (INEGMA) will take place on the January 11th 2010 at the Armed Forces Officers Club, Abu Dhabi.

MEISR promises to explore the most critical issues within this rapidly advancing field by hosting senior international experts, such as Lieutenant General Michael Hostage, Commander of U.S. AFCENT, Brigadier General Nicola Gelao, Head of Italian Military Intelligence and Rear Admiral Jean Goursaud, Deputy Director of French Military Intelligence.

GCC defense and security establishments currently have a heightened interest in ISR realms to meet critical emerging capability requirements. Technologies developing in unmanned systems, communications and surveillance satellites, surveillance radars, as well as network-centric data processing, dissemination and protection solutions are coming to the forefront of GCC procurement priorities.
