At an estimated value of $8 million, this one-year agreement will support the RJAF fleet of 13 S-70A Black Hawk helicopters. Sikorsky Aerospace Services (SAS) is the aftermarket division of Sikorsky.

“This contract allows the Royal Jordanian Air Force the flexibility to streamline procurement of parts and services for optimum fleet maintenance. SAS remains fully committed to deliver best-in-class aftermarket support to our worldwide customers,” said David Adler, president of Sikorsky Aerospace Services.

Spanning almost 18 years, the RJAF and Sikorsky Aircraft have worked together to build a solid relationship. The Basic Order Agreement is predicated on this long-standing association. With preset terms and conditions, the BOA allows the RJAF to order parts and services through Helicopter Support, Inc., a business unit of Sikorsky Aerospace Services. The agreement – which is renewable on an annual basis – includes a discount structure based on volume and provides an incentive program for prompt payment. The BOA offers an efficient and cost-effective provision for continual sourcing of aftermarket support services.

Sikorsky Aerospace Services, a Sikorsky company, provides comprehensive support to rotary and fixed wing operators around the world. It offers its military and commercial customers a full portfolio of support services, including material distribution, maintenance, overhaul & repair, aircraft modifications and life-cycle support.
