Qatar’s Rizon Jet won the top award for ithe best FBO across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region for its  London’s Biggin Hill facility. This FBO replicates the luxury service at Rizon’s home base in Doha - but due to a dispute with the Qatar government, third party operators have not been able to use the Doha facilities.

In second place was Dhabijet, the FBO facility at Abu Dhabi’s Al Bateen airport.
35,000 of the magazine’s aircraft owners and readers, who voted online and via printed questionnaire, put Al Bateen’s DhabiJet FBO in second place ahead of many bigger, and longer established international brands.
The survey received votes for a total of 328 facilities in Europe, the Middle East, Russia and Africa, ranking DhabiJet the best FBO in the Middle East Region.
In celebration of this achievement, H.E. Ali Majed Al Mansouri, Chairman of ADAC, said: “For the second year running, DhabiJet was ranked on the top five list of premier FBOs around the world. This is an accolade for ADAC and the entire team at Al Bateen, marking their continuous efforts and commitment to providing the highest levels of FBO services to visiting aircraft, passengers and crew.”
Al Bateen’s accomplishment follows a record year in 2012, which saw an 11% increase in overall commercial aviation movements compared with 2011.
