MEBA10: Nexus puts security centre stage

But one MEBA exhibitor, Bahrain-company Nexus, has identified a growing demand to increase security precautions and has brokered a deal with FAM International, a leading global player in specialised security solutions, to provide its customers with aviation security solutions.
The partnership brings an added service to the customers of Nexus that encapsulates aircraft security, airport, city and hotel assessment, transportation security, and executive protection. Advance surveys are carried out prior to customers’ arrival to identify areas of concern and determine solutions and strategies.
“FAM becoming a trusted partner of Nexus Flight Operations Services will enable them to provide their clients with our support for worldwide operation,” said Brian Leek, FAM’s chief executive. “We are uniquely positioned worldwide with regional and in‐country managers to monitor each client’s security. FAM is able to identify associated risks geared to Nexus clients’ needs and then make recommendations to safeguard their assets.”
Abdullah Al‐Sayed, president and chief executive of Nexus said: “Security solutions are always critical to choose because you must place your trust in someone else. Our partnership with FAM International will reassure our customers that we have chosen the best and most comprehensive solution for them.
“With FAM’s knowledge and history in aviation security, and our commitment to serve our customers with the best solutions, it no longer becomes a difficult choice for them, it becomes a well executed, calculated decision.”
