from 7 to 9 December 2010 at Dubai’s Airport Expo.

The last MEBA show in November 2008 attracted some 250 exhibitors from 30 countries and over 5,500 visitors, with more than US$1.5billion worth of deals struck.

Alison Weller, Managing Director of F&E Aerospace, commented: “With most of the world’s business aircraft suppliers and operators exhibiting and visiting EBACE, we want to take this opportunity to celebrate the recent good news that the Middle East is a thriving market for business aviation.

“So, what better way to celebrate and welcome exhibitors who book up for December’s MEBA show than with a bottle of champagne or chocolates from our host country!”

In a recent report, the global business research and consultancy firm Frost & Sullivan said the Middle East region will need more than 400 business aircraft by 2018, of which more that 200 would be needed by 2015, valued at some US$3.89 billion.

MEBA 2010 is organised on behalf of the Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA), which predicts that the market in the region is set to expand 15-20 per cent each year for the next four years.

The fourth running of MEBA in December will include exhibitors from as far afield as the US, Brazil, Hong Kong and Europe, who will join the region’s top aviation companies, including Dubai World Central-Aviation City, Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), Saudi Arabia’s MAZ Aviation, Lebanon’s Executive Airport Services (EAS), and Jordan’s Arab Wings.

More than 70 business aircraft will be displayed on the outdoor static aircraft park, which will also feature more company pavilions than in previous shows, along with the hospitality chalets.

In a first for the region, MEBA 2010 will host the 2010 meeting in Dubai of the governing body of the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), which is traditionally held in the US or Europe.
