Dubai Airshow: Spot Air makes show debut with range of services on offer

An Egyptian company offering aviation services ranging from business aircraft charter, flight services and airline support activities is making its debut at the 2009 Dubai Airshow

The company, Spot Air, is demonstrating its flexibility and highlighting the services and operations it can offer to the airlines, business jet operators and business executives of the Gulf region.

Spot Air has been sourcing aircraft and offering aircraft support services and pricing in Egypt for some time. It is the ground services agent for Almasria Universal Airlines which operates a fleet of two aircraft A320 aircraft is also the sole agent for Midwest Airlines in Egypt which is operating B737-600 aircraft.  In the support services sector Spot Air works with many international airlines, transferring tourist passenger to and from Egypt, regularly flying more than 8,000 hrs a year and handling more than 24,000 passengers.

More recently the company has been working on a military operation in which Spot Air moved over 3000 soldiers out of Mogadishu, Djibouti and Baghdad. 

During the last year Spot Air carried out more than 150 VIP flights on Spot Air's fleet of aircraft, which includes a Hawker 850XP. Spot Air also carries out a number of joint ventures, most recently with Astra Associated Charter in Italy.
