The FBO will feature a large hangar able to accommodate aircraft up to Airbus A340-600 VIP wide-body size. There will also be on-site fuelling, ground handling and customs clearance.

MAZ Aviation, Comlux’s Middle East partner, is also a shareholder in the venture. “Paris is an important destination and we believe this project will help Comlux and MAZ provide the best services to our VIP clients,” says Mohammed Al Zeer Chairman of MAZ Aviation.

Le Bourget Airport’s MD Michel de Ronne adds: “We are very pleased to have Comlux and Landmark opening a new VIP FBO at Le Bourget. It will create new job opportunities and will help us to confirm Le Bourget as the leading airport in Europe for business aviation.“

Meanwhile Dan Bucaro, Landmark’s chief says that the alliance will enable the company to strengthen its presence in Paris by giving it the ability to take on widebodies. He says: “We are positive that the consistency of our services and our extensive capabilities will gain the confidence of our future customers, not only in Paris Le Bourget but anywhere their travel takes them in the Landmark FBO network.”

According to Richard Gaona, Comlux president, the company is going to work on obtaining its JAR 145 maintenance certification, which means it will be able to perform line maintenance activities.
