Officially launched at EBACE, Geneva, and made up of six EASA-licensed technical experts, Bombardier’s MRT can respond to Aircraft on Ground (AOG) problems across the Middle East and has already supported customers in Qatar and Jordan.

The MRT has also added capability for the Learjet 60 aircraft to its existing line maintenance support for Global and Challenger business aircraft. Capability for other Learjet aircraft models is expected to follow next year.

Andy Nureddin, vice president, Customer Services and Support, Bombardier Business Aircraft, says: “Since the MRT’s launch in May, we have seen very positive interest from customers, which has led us to expand our capabilities.

“Extending our services in the Middle East will further enhance our response rate and minimize downtime for our growing international customer base.”

The MRT’s expanded service in the Middle East will complement Bombardier’s established service network in the region, which includes a Bombardier parts depot and an Authorised Service Facility operated by Execujet.
