Dubai 2011: Saudi Private Aviation becomes world's largest 7X fleet operator

The trijet can connect New York to Dubai and Jeddah to Recife, as well as accessing challenging airports such as London City Airport.
The sector lengths are important to customers in the Gulf, who frequently make intercontinental flights. Olivier Villa, Dassault’s (stand: W310) senior vice president of civil aircraft, said: “Saudi is an important market for us. We are seeing that it is a major player in the Middle East.”
The Gulf region accounts for 7 to 10% of Dassault’s business jet sales. According to Villa, the most important customer bases are Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Oman. He said: “Saudi accounts for our largest market share.”
There are 60 Falcons in service in the Middle East.
Saudi Private Aviation Engineering & Maintenance in Jeddah also became the Dassault second factory-approved facility and parts depot in the region. The first one is part of Jet Aviation’s FBO at Dubai International Airport.
Dassault is at the Dubai Airshow with two of its latest models – the Falcon 2000LX and Falcon 7X.
