Dubai 2011: Airbus launches specialist corporate jet unit

The unit will bring together commercial, programme and support activities. It will also have a direct link to the company’s cabin-outfitting subsidiary, Airbus Corporate Jet Centre.

Habib Fekih, president Airbus Corporate Jets, said: “We have brought all the different units under one roof and with one focal point. Our sales are good but we want to improve the service to the customer. This enables us to do more development, improve the product, be more self-sufficient, more efficient and improve sales and profits.”

Along with the new name, the corporate jets have been renamed as the ACJ series (ACJ318-ACJ380) and have been outfitted with new livery.
