DC Aviation sees African boom

The company which regularly operates services to the Middle East, said it operated over 50 flights and transported roughly 670 passengers over the past twelve months to African destinations.
Steffen Fries, CEO of DC Aviation said: "Infrastructure in Africa has still yet to be sufficiently developed. This is why our customers use business jets to fly directly to their final destination. They also benefit from short layovers, as they can start their return flight at the time of their choosing. That is a clear advantage over traditional carriers that often only serve African destinations a few times a week.“
DC says itgs top end aircrft have been particularly popular. "The VIP Airbus with 48 seats is a favorite among corporate customers, in particular, as it offers sizable groups unparalleled value for money. The World Cup in South Africa has also contributed to higher demand: to date, ten flights have been booked for trips to tournament venues and many of these flights were operated with the 48-seat Airbus," the company said.
