Dassault says Falcon 7X modification is cleared by EASA

The Falcon 7X fleet has been grounded since May 26 awaiting rectification of a technical fault, but at a press conference in Saint Cloud today ahead of the Paris Airshow, Dassailt confirmed it has been cleared by EASA to resume passenger operations.
A Falcon 7X experienced a pitch trim malfunction during descent on May 25. The crew successfully recovered the aircraft to a stable flight profile and landed safely but Dassault halted all flights advising EASA and the FAA to issue an airworthiness directive and suspend flights.
The company said today it had developed a modification kit which adds additional layers of protection to the Falcon 7X horizontal stabiliser pitch trim control system. The equipment went into production and has beem shipped to approved service facilities. All 112 aircraft in the world fleet are expected to be airbourne again by the first week of July.
Dassault said that all of its customers had been kept informed of the situation on almost a daily basis.
The company also said it fully expected the aircraft to take part in the flying display at the PAris Air Show which opens on Monday
