At a special event to formally launch in the Kingdom – a move that was announced at the Bahrain Air Show earlier this year – saw the company offer a comprehensive set of services to VIP customers who wish to have their own aircraft managed personally and professionally. “This includes exclusive aircraft management, sales and acquisitions, cabin design and completion as well as maintenance and engineering services,” the company’s president Richard Gaona said.

“Following Comlux international reputation for its highest safety standards and its quality of service ‘made in Switzerland’, Comlux Middle East will offer a truly bespoke charter service to its clients in the region,” the company said.

Comlux Middle East has a dedicated fleet of VIP aircraft available for Charter in the region: one Airbus A318 Elite, configured in full VIP configuration with a large comfortable lounge, dining room, and a luxurious private area at the back. The second is an Airbus ACJ, with a private bedroom at the front with its own shower, a spacious lounge including a convenient round dining table for six, and an entourage area at the back with twelve First class seats.

Both aircraft can accommodate up to nineteen VIP passengers, offering to each of them ultimate comfort on board and outstanding baggage space in the cargo hold.

Early 2011, a brand new A320 Prestige will join the Comlux Middle East fleet, offering another VIP charter solution for Comlux VIP clientele in the Gulf. The aircraft will feature a very stylish and modern cabin arrangement, with the latest connectivity systems such as GSM on board.

Gaona said: “The Middle East represents great opportunities to Business Aviation and Bahrain is an excellent location to service the Business Aviation market in the whole Middle East; the Kingdom of Bahrain has a very efficient business environment and the quality of its modern aviation infrastructures will allow us to develop further in the future. I wish to express my gratitude to The Government of Bahrain, specifically The Civil Aviation Affairs for their continuous coordination, corporation, and support. This confirms the commitment of the Kingdom of Bahrain to strengthen the position and the growth of Bahrain International Airport on the map of the Private Aviation industry”.
