Avinode data shows Egypt as the busiest for business aviation as curfew hits

The sudden change in political climate over the last week is the probable cause for this unexpected new trend., the company said.
This shift in demand is most clearly reflected in the airport popularity statistics for the last week of January, which sees Cairo International Airport up from the fourth most popular departure airport in January to the number one departure airport over the last week.
Luxor International and Alexandria International have also been heavily affected by the shift in demand, with Luxor moving up to second place from eighth, and Alexandria debuting on the list as the twelfth most popular airport over the last seven days, despite being unlisted for most of the month.
The majority of requested aircraft in the affected region over this period are mid-size to heavy jets.
