ATM: Royal Jet announce new corporate relationship programme and fleet expansion

“This is a special week for Royal Jet as it’s our 7th birthday,” said CEO Shane O’Hare.
“A few years ago we had just two aircraft as private aviation was in its infancy. Since then we have come a long way in such a short time and no one could foresee the rollercoaster we were to ride, especially in the last couple of years,” he said. “Today I am delighted to report that Royal Jet remains on an upward growth path, both in terms of its fleet size and revenue, while all the time remaining committed to introducing new initiatives which add value to our stakeholders. I am therefore happy to announce our strategy of diversification, cost efficacy initiatives and delivering the best possible service has paid off handsomely. We have chosen the Arabian Travel Market to announce a new initiative called the 100 Club which is a new corporate relationship programme that we believe will offer a unique offering in our industry and brings major benefits to private sector travelers.”
The 100 Club is a tailored offering to Royal Jet’s corporate travellers.
“We believe this is unique in business aviation,” added John Morgan, VIP Commercial.
“It allows all our customers, from individuals to corporates, to profit from an attractive range of benefits, including increased discounts, depending on the type of aircraft usage and the number of hours flown. We have taken cost effectiveness and efficiency to another level.” Morgan added: “To join, customer need only commit to a minimum of 20 hours flying time during a year. Depending on the number of hours flown in a year, ‘100 Club’ members’ discount increases proportionally up to a maximum of nice percent. Unlike other private cards, which may require a full year’s payment for usage in advance, invoices for ‘100 Club’ members are sent out only upon confirmation of each booking made. It’s a sensible business decision.”
Morgan also explained that ‘100 Club’ members can call on 24/7 assistance and have access to the entire Royal Jet fleet, including LearJet 60, Gulfstream and Boeing Business Jets.
Royal Jet announced it will also be adding to its Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) fleet later this month.
“We will be taking delivery of our sixth Boeing Business Jet, the A6-DFR, which reinforces our position as the largest operator in the world for this type of aircraft,” said O’Hare. “This new aircraft has 22 seats, two generously proportioned lounges, a private office and a stateroom with bathroom and shower, gives he feel of a small boutique hotel, making it comfortable with plenty of living space for families too. It really is a home away from home.”
Royal Jet is also adding a Lineage 1000 to its fleet list from August, having recently signed a new aircraft management deal with UAE-based business conglomerate the Al Habtoor Group.
O’ Hare said: “The Lineage 1000 is one of the latest and most technically advanced business jets designed to seat up to 19 passengers. This deal is another feather in our cap and means Royal Jet can offer guests the full range of six passengers to ultra luxurious BBJ.” It doesn’t stop there either as O’Hare went on to explain another boost to its fleet. “After a complete refurbishment, I am happy to announce the return of the BBJ, A6-RJY. This state-of the-art jet will offer unparalleled levels of comfort and is set to become the most technological advanced and most luxurious jet in the world.”
Capping its celebrations of seven years of successful business operations Royal Jet picked up, for the third time in succession, an award from the World Travel Awards in Dubai a few days ago for the Middle East’s Leading Private Jet Charter operator award.
“Royal Jet is on a high and we remain committed to raising the bar for the global private jet industry,” said O’Hare.
