Alkan offers cut price rates for business charter in Egypt

Egyptian business aviation operator Alkan Air is reducing charges for aircraft charter in a bid to help stimulate the business and the national economy after a collapse in trade following the political uprising earlier in the month.

Alkan's Samar El Gamal said today that hourly charges would reduce to US$3950  per hour for the Hawker 850XP - a 2007 model that is configured for eight passengers; and US$1500  an hour for chartering a Beechcraft Super King Air 350 which can carry ten passengers.

"The prices exclude passenger and VIPs fees charged at the airports," El Gamal said. 

Waiting , overnight and handling fees will also be added to the charges according to the flight distention and airport, the company said.
