Saudia could be sued over aircraft auction

A Saudi businessman who bought an aircraft from Saudi Arabian Airlines has said he will sue them for $26 million (SR100m) unless it provides him with the aircraft fully equipped, with all its parts, as displayed before he made the buy, reported news agency Okaz.

The man, identified only as YH, said he inspected the aircraft before he made the purchase in a public auction, but after paying the money said he was surprised to find it had been stripped bare.

After making his feelings known to the airline but failing to produce a response, the entrepreneur has said he is now considering taking the matter to the courts.
