Oman Air arranges local finance deal for two Embraer 175 jets

The medium-term loan agreement worth US$52mn has been signed with BankDhofar. Oman Air has five of the Brazilian jets on order and will be looking at other local banks to support the purchases.
Japeen Shah, chief financial officer of Oman Air, told the Muscat Daily newspaper today, "Oman Air invited local banks to bid for this financing arrangement and BankDhofar was selected as it offered the most cost effective solution. This is the second time a local bank has agreed to finance aircraft for Oman Air.”
