Jazeera to increase share capital to finance Sahaab
Kuwaiti budget carrier Jazeera Airways' board is intending to raise the share capital of the company by KD20 million ($69 million) through a share issue, according to Air Transport Intelligence.

The increase follows the decision by the carrier to acquire aircraft leasing company Sahaab.
In a statement to the Kuwaiti stock exchange, Jazeera says it will raise the capital of the company by KD20 million to a total of KD42 million - a rise of 91%. It will issue 200 million new shares, priced with a nominal value of KD0.100 and a premium of KD0.050.
