The confirmation of the expansion comes after announcing a new station in West Africa earlier this week and today reporting how its financial performance is showing  new record sales of above $55 m (€42m) over the past year.

The 2010 figures show an increase of 27 % over the previous year. The growth of FAI´s three business divisions was 13 % in Air Ambulance, 16 % in Public Services and 32 % in VIP-Charter.

FAI said it expects this growth to continue and is predicting a overall 20% gain in 2011.
FAI´s current fleet totals 18 Jets and next month the GErman company will take delivery of a second Global Express.  “With the acquisition of a second Global Express, FAI is responding to the high demand coming from this premium sector of VVIP-Travel, what this also means is that Global Express No. 3 could arrive very soon”, Siegfried Axtmann, FAI-Chairman, said in a statement.
