EBACE: AMAC wins Abu Dhabi widebody order
Swiss firm AMAC Aerospace said at EBACE today that it has fulfilled its ambition to become a wide body completions centre with the confirmation from the Abu Dhabi government for a a widebody completion.
AMAC said it has two wide body contracts in the pipeline.
The first contract, for a Boeing B777-300 ER, was signed with the government of Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. The aircraft will be delivered to the completion facility in Basel, Switzerland in November 2010. The second contract is for a Boeing B777-200 LR belonging to a VVIP client in the Middle East. This aircraft will be delivered to Basel in December 2010.
