Dubai Airshow: Middle East Aerospace Consortium launched at show

Today saw the launch of a new organisation – the Middle East Aerospace Consortium (MEAC). John Ellis, the consortium's CEO, said it has offices in Dubai, Saudi Arabia and the UK and will connect all of the Middle East's aerospace industry. He added that despite only being launched today the consortium already has 25 member companies.

“We're a networking organisation, giving people an easier way to trade with each other. We also have a full calendar of events coming up,” John said.

“We are also able to offer collaborative bulk purchasing contracts on items such as fuel, training and insurance services.

“The Middle East aerospace industry is one of the most rapidly developing in the world. Membership of Middle East Aerospace will enable organisations to benefit from the tremendous opportunity the market offers.”

Members joining MEAC can choose from three different membership package options: silver, gold or platinum.  The numerous benefits also include tender alerts, discounts on aerospace industry events and exhibitions and new business introductions.
