Bahrain 2012: Saudi approval for SA MENA Avionics

The company has already secured equivalent approvals from the Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs (BCAA), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
SA MENA Avionics is a joint venture between MENA Aerospace Enterprises and Scandinavian Avionics, based in Billund, Denmark, is an authorised service centre for most high-end avionics suppliers, including Rockwell Collins, Honeywell, Bendix King, L3, Thrane & Thrane and others.
Operating out of Bahrain International Airport, it specialises in selling, installing, maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting aircraft electrical and electronic equipment.
SA MENA Avionics supports local and international airlines, maintenance and repair organisations, plus private aircraft operators throughout the Middle East. It is also active in providing instruction and on-the-job aeronautical training for Bahrainis.
Group CEO Ralph Eisenschmid (pictured) said: “These recent approvals are the direct result of a lot of hard work by the entire team.
"This bolsters our overall corporate strategy to continue our aggressive expansion into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other countries in the GCC.”
Majority Bahraini-owned MENA Aerospace was established in the kingdom in 2004 and employs more than 50 people.
