Queen Alia International Airport reports positive growth in July
Airport International Group, the Jordanian company in charge of Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), has announced an increase in of 14.14% in aircraft movements for July.

The airport reported an increase to 5,673 movements compared to 4,970 in July 2008.
Monthly passenger volumes topped a half million for the first time ever, with 524,626 passengers using the airport compared to 478,102 for the same month of last year, marking an increase of 9.73%.
Curtis Grad, chief said: “This strong performance is an important signal of economic recovery and the ongoing terminal expansion, due for completion in early 2012, will play a key role in positioning QAIA as the gateway of choice in the region.”
