Passenger numbers drop at Beirut International Airport
The number of passengers travelling through Beirut's Rafik Hariri International airport dropped by 9.4 percent since February of last year, an official survey on the airport's activity i has shown.

The survey also shows a decline in air traffic, a drop in export cargo of 22.07 percent, and a decrease in import cargo of 19.29 percent.
However, it reported a rise in the number of passengers using the airport for transit. A total of 216,000 passengers passed through the airport this February, it said.
