Afghan new links to Gulf

Safi Airways, the international airline of Afghanistan, has launched a series of new routes to the Gulf states with nonstop flights to Afghanistan from Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Kuwait.

Chairman of Safi Airways, Rahim Safi said, “It was our intention from day one of our operation that this will be a diamond in the Afghanistan Aviation Industry: An airline for Afghan people to help them move in and out of our country. Our new schedule, effective April 7 sets a landmark for us.”

There are flights to Dubai from Kandahar and Mazar-E-Sharif once a week., Abu Dhabi has twice weekly flights to Kabul and Kuwait is connected to Kabul once a week.

Flights from Dubai to Kabul will increase to twice daily through the  summer peak period.
