Turkish venture firmly seated in latest 777-300 delivery

Turkish Airlines joint venture with Turkish Technic and Assan Hanil Automotive Industry and Trade Co to produce aircraft seats has finally been realised with the first of TK's Boeingg 777-300 ERs to be fitted with the domestically made seats.

The aircraft was delivered to Istanbul this week and was fitted with the Turkish Seats Industries (TSI) seating.
The jet - serial number 60402 and bearing registration TC-LJK - had previously been linked with a possible sale to Iran Air.
It is the 30th 777-300 in service with the Turkish national carrier.
