Qatar Airways Chief Technical Officer Ali Ahmed Al Khuzaei (pictured left) and Qatar Airways Vice President Technical – Aircraft Programs Syed Masroor Hasan received a commemorative plaque from Airbus following a comprehensive retrofit project, which saw the cabins of three Airbus A321 and two Airbus A319 LR aircraft being converted with a totally new look.

The five retro-fitted Airbus aircraft were upgraded to the latest standards of enhanced cabin architecture and now offer seat-back TV touch screens accessing over 700 audio and visual interactive entertainment programmes  in all seats across both cabins, as well as the airline’s OnAir service allowing passengers to use their mobile phones onboard for SMS, MMs, emails and internet. The 16 month-long project was successfully completed earlier this year.
