Ethiopian scoops cabin award in Inflight IFEC ceremony

Ethiopian Airlines were among the awards at the aircraft interiors exhibition (AIME) held in Dubai this week.

The Addis based airline won the best cabin retrofit programme in a competition that spanned across the whole of Africa and the Middle East.
The Inflight IFEC Awards saw Saudia claiming the prestigious "Inflight airline of the year" title for the first time. Other airline winners were Emirates (Airline IFEC experience) and 2017 winner Panasonic Avionics picked up another Inflight Middle East award in the "IFE system provider" category, while Inmarsat held off fierce competition to claim the "Connectivity enablement" trophy and Global Eagle took home the "Content provision" award.
