Turkish chairman resigns from national carrier

The Star Alliance carrier said that Karlitekin, who has been in the post for four years, will leave at the end of this month.

Karlitekin is also the chairman of the board of carrier SunExpress, maintenance firm Turkish Technic and other related companies. He is stepping down from all these posts.

Turkish Airlines is yet to announce a successor but reports say that the carrier will appont one at its next board meeting within the next few weeks.
