Skyways lodges formal complaint against ACSA
Skywise has lodged a complaint against Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), regarding its flights being grounded last year.

The carrier’s flights were suspended in December due to unpaid airport charges for landing, take off and parking.
Times Live reported that Skywise has announced that the grounding of flights was "an abuse of dominance and a prohibited practice", and according to Skywise co-chair Tabassum Qadir, it is prohibited for a dominant firm to refuse to give access to an essential facility when it is economically feasible to do so.
"We appeal to the Competition Tribunal to investigate and order the end to this prohibited practice," Qadir said.
ACSA has stood by its decisions, stating that suspending the flights was in the best commercial interests to ensure the sustainability of the aviation industry.
