Nu-Aero has bought out Zimbabwe FlyAfrica
Nu-Aero has bought about Zimbabwe FlyAfrica, and plans to launch a lawsuit to recover USD300,000 in funds owed to passengers.

Cassidy Mugwagwa, chairman, Nu-Aero, said the firm is rebranding the carrier whilst sourcing larger aircraft to replace the current fleet.
“We have secured alternate aircraft, which we are in the process of placing on our AOC. We have secured the booking system, although we have to start from scratch. We will enter into sales and management agreements with Airconnect and have them handle the call centre,” he said.
USD6.6 million has been put into the airlines ahead of a relaunch.
Nu-Aero plans to sue FlyAfrica for money owed to passengers who booked flights prior to the carrier’s suspension.
Mugwagwa has also accused FlyAfrica of breeching the terms of their franchise agreement, and has commented that the previous management left the carrier a mess for Nu-Aero to fix.
