Hill's departure from Oman Air is delayed
The board of Oman Air has asked its outgoing CEO Peter Hill to delay his departure from the company for a short time until a suitable candidate can be found to take over the reins, Muscat Daily has reported.
Hill was expected to leave the airline at the end of this month but has now said that he will be staying on for a few months as CEO of Oman Air while the board continues to search for his replacement.
Hill said it is up to the board to determine who this person is but in the meantime he is prepared to stay in Oman until the end of the year. "I will be staying on for another few months while the board continues to search for my replacement. When one is found, I will leave the post," said Hill.
