Fly450 to start Kabunde services
Fly450 is planning to begin scheduled passenger flights to Kabunde Airstrip in Homa Bay, ch-aviation reports.

The airstrip is currently undergoing renovations and is expected to secure commercial certification from the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority this month.
“We are ready for Homa Bay. We will offer competitive rates and we are likely to start with three flights a day and thereafter make it more frequent even daily, depending on the demand,” said Fly 540’s director for corporate and industry affairs, Nixon Ooko.
Local residents have had to use Kisumu airport, 65 km away. Kabunde’s upgrade will make travel cheaper and more convenient for passengers, especially during the rainy season that makes rural roads impassable.
