Blue Sky Airlines and Ocean Airlines merge to form Blue Ocean Airlines
Somali carriers Blue Sky Airlines and Ocean Airlines have merged to form Blue Ocean Airlines.
The merge was announced at a press conference in Bu-ale, where the airlines’ management said that consolidating their operations would allow them to enhance their services.
The new carrier will use EMB-120s and CRJ-200s to serve Hargeisa, Bossaso, Galcaio, Baidoa, Kisimayu, Abudwag, Beledweyne, and Dollow from its Mogadishu and Nairobi hubs
