Nigerian-based Caverton Offshore Support Group was at the Aviation Africa show in Kigali showcasing its MRO services and a new training initiative for helicopter customers. Chief operation officer (COO) Rotimi Makanjuola talks to TATV's Marcelle Nethersole about the growing maintenance business which is now reaching out across West Africa.

The 40,000 square foot facility is the largest in West Africa and provides multi-model service. The company is also now offering MRO for Twin Otters and is looking at extending to other fixed wing types, particularly propeller-driven.

The company has the first AW139 simulator, initially for its own company fleet and the Lagos-based simulator as well as a base in Cameroon are proving successful.
