TATV AACO AGM Insight - The highs and the lows from emissions to profitability

The Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO) met in person for the first time in two years for its annual general meeting and TATV was there to capture the mood and moment as airlines and industry suppliers came together to talk about the key issues, brought to you with the support of CFM International.

And there were plenty of these, with event hosted by Qatar Airways and its GCEO Akbar Al Baker.

Of course recovery was one key issue – and following the decision at IATA AGM last month – AACO members unanimously voted to commit to the 2050 deadline for zero emissions.

Secretary-General of AACO Abdul Wahab Teffaha and IATA Director General Willie Walsh share their thoughts with presenters Alan Peaford and Mark Pilling.

Airline CEOs from across the region also give their opinions  ranging from challenges to achieve targets whether financially or environmentally and talk about plans for refleeting as part of the recovery process.

And CNN's Richard Quest joins the team to sum up the event's achievements.
