Donabassero to link Ukraine with Dubai
Donbassaero Airlines Company has launched the Donetsk-Dubai route with plans to start flights from October 2009 for the winter season, the Kyiv Post has reported.
According to an official report from the company, the flight will be carried out once a week – on Tuesdays – starting from October 27, 2009 until March 23, 2010.
An Airbus A320 will perform the flight.
Donbassaero was created in 1933 as a subdivision of Soviet airline Aeroflot. In November 2006, the company became the municipal property of Donetsk.
A total of 74.99% of the company's capital was passed into the property of Aerosvit-Ukrainian Airlines (Kyiv) in 2007.
Donbassaero's fleet consists of six Yak-42s and four Airbus A320s.
