Air Mauritius will fly to Maputo and Dar es Salaam in May
Air Mauritius expands its network by opening direct routes to Maputo and Dar es Salaam as from May 4 and 6 2016 respectively.

These flights will use the Mauritius hub to feed the Air Corridor between Mauritius and Singapore.
With these new destinations, Air Mauritius brings to 26 the number of its weekly flights to Africa.
The airline now offers 17 flights per week to Johannesburg, 3 to Cape Town of 3 to Durban and 3 to Nairobi.
"African economies show remarkable resilience in the face of global crisis. They still record a growth rate higher than the global average. The expansion of our network on the continent is thus a response to a greater demand in air connectivity. These new services will contribute to strengthen the Air Corridor linking the African and Asian destinations using the hubs of Mauritius and Singapore, " says Megh Pillay, CEO of Air Mauritius.
