Aytekin Salter, manager base maintenance at Pegasus Airlines said: "Pegasus Airlines is a large airline. This contract is important for us as it not only represents an important project, but also is again an opportunity to prove our expertise and ability to manage a short TAT by applying lean processes and for which we hope can lead to closer relations in the future," added Paul Chün. "We were highly satisfied with the work carried out by KLM UK Engineering last year. This new contract is based on the acknowledged service quality of this MRO and also their ability to maintain short TATs.”

"At the request of Pegasus Airlines, we carried out this type of heavy maintenance on another of its 737NGs in October 2012," said Paul Chün, managing director of KLM UK Engineering. "After this first trial run, the airline said it was very satisfied with our professionalism. We are therefore extremely happy to continue our cooperation."
