AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings and Pantheon Enterprises technology cooperation

AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings and Pantheon Enterprises have been working together over the last two years to develop an advanced chrome free aircraft pretreatment that will be sold through AkzoNobel Aerospace Coating's global distribution network.

The pretreatment, to be marketed under the AkzoNobel Metaflex brand, will be known as Metaflex SP and has been developed to meet the AMS3095 specification.

“The Metaflex brand is a trusted name globally in pretreatment products. The Metaflex SP (surface pretreatment) will build on the brand and offer the market a number of benefits and savings over current pretreatment methods,” said Andrew Richardson, global market director at AkzoNobel.  “Metaflex SP will be launched in the near future in combination with a number of new products from AkzoNobel, aimed at the MRO aviation market.”
