AIG launches AirGuard and partners with Wyvern Consulting

In response to emerging and evolving risks affecting the aerospace industry, American International Group (AIG) has launched AirGuard, safety and loss control services designed to address safety and regulatory risks faced by corporate flight departments, commercial air carriers, airports, and various aviation service providers and support groups.

Through AirGuard, AIG is partnering with Wyvern Consulting, a leader in aviation risk management and safety auditing, and a100% subsidiary of Nexus. 

AirGuard services are available to clients at preferred rates and include: 

Organisational Safety Risk Profile Assessments which lay the foundation for establishing or refining an operation’s Safety Management System. 

End-to-end support for operations implementing Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Emergency Response Plans (ERP). 

Consultations to prepare customers for International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) certification audits to verify a client’s compliance at each level (Stage I, II, and III). 

Various training options including web-based safety and risk management training courses; on-site SMS and emergency response programmes, workshops, tailor-made educational programs; and specialised training to equip CEOs and Accountable Executives to fulfill their obligations for instilling SMS.
