Tunisian airline Syphax suspends all flights
The airline, based at Sfax, is urging passengers planning to travel on its flights to contact their travel agencies.
It blaming a "sudden" and unexpected "blocking" by IATA, according to Flightglobal. The carrier, which has been operating for about three years, claims the suspension of services to and from Tunisia is temporary.
"We must ensure this situation presents the least possible inconvenience to our customers, especially during the summer season," it adds.
Syphax has been experiencing a number of problems over the last few months, including instability within its senior management and the cancellation of an Airbus A320 order.
