Qatar Airways pauses services to five African nations
Qatar Airways will no longer be accepting passengers travelling from five Southern African countries in its global network.
The airline said it will continue to accept passengers for travel into these countries in-line with current restrictions.
Passengers who are booked on Qatar Airways flights from seven destinations, Luanda, Angola; Maputo, Mozambique; Johannesburg, Captown, Durban, South Africa; Lusaka, Zambia; and Harare, Zimbabwe, will not be accepted for travel until further notice.
The airline said the restrictions will remain in place until its receives further guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO).
