The new partnership will give Emirates’ customers even more choice when it comes to paying for their flights online.
The acceptance and expansion of PayPal with Emirates has been made possible by PayPal’s partnership with GlobalCollect, a provider of worldwide e-payment solutions. At first, Emirates will accept PayPal for UK and European departing flights, followed by other major countries including the United Arab Emirates, the United States and Australia.

PayPal offers a convenient way to pay online as well as protecting customers’ transactions and personal financial information. Once customers open a PayPal account, their financial details are securely stored, so when they pay for Emirates flights through PayPal they do not need to re-enter their financial details and can enjoy a much faster booking.

Keith Longstaff, Divisional Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations WorldWide, Emirates airline, said, “Emirates is looking forward to working with PayPal to bring new payment options to our customers worldwide. PayPal is well respected within the industry and well known to consumers in many of the markets in which our services are offered.”

PayPal is a payment option on over 160,000 retailers’ sites across Europe.
