The Nairobi-based carrier was forced to reduce flights, from 42 a week to 14, on 19 March, after its weekly frequency allowance was cut by the Tanzanian civil aviation authority.

Flightglobal reported that there were high-level talks between Tanzanian president Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete and his Kenyan counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta in the Namibian capital of Windhoek on yesterday and as a result the airline's normal quota of weekly frequencies has been restored.
